Is Filovo really free?

Yes — every tool is free to use, with no file limits tied to payment. Filovo runs in your browser using your device's own processing power, so there's no server cost per conversion that we need to recoup from you.

Where are my files processed?

Locally, in your browser, using JavaScript. Nothing is uploaded to Filovo's servers or any third party during conversion.

What file size can I convert?

There's no hard limit set by Filovo, but very large files (for example, 200+ page PDFs or multi-gigabyte images) may be slow depending on your device's memory and processing power, since the work happens on your machine.

Do you support batch processing?

Many tools (Image to PDF, Merge PDF, ZIP Maker, HEIC to JPEG, Images to GIF, and others) accept multiple files at once. Tools that produce one output per input, like Compress Image, also accept multiple files and let you convert them one at a time.

Why do some tools say "Coming soon"?

A handful of conversions — full-fidelity Word/PowerPoint editing, MOBI/AZW eBooks, and PDF password protection — need processing that isn't realistically achievable purely in a browser today. Everything else on Filovo is fully working.

Do I need to create an account?

No, all tools work without signing in. An account just lets you stay logged in across visits.
