Quick answers for getting the most out of Filovo.

Getting started

Pick a tool from the navbar menus (PDF Tools, Image Tools, or Converter Tools) or scroll to "Jump to any tool" on the homepage. Drop your file into the box, adjust any settings shown, and click the convert button. Your output downloads straight to your device — nothing is uploaded anywhere.

Why is my file not converting?

Make sure the file type matches what the tool expects (for example, the "PDF to Text" tool only accepts PDFs). If a tool fails immediately, try a smaller file first — very large files can be slow in the browser depending on your device. If it still fails, use the feedback form below with the tool name and file type, and we'll look into it.

Is my file actually private?

Yes. Every Filovo tool runs entirely with JavaScript in your browser. Files are never uploaded to a server — you can disconnect from the internet after the page loads (for non-account features) and tools will still work.

Do I need an account?

No. Every conversion tool works without logging in. An account is only useful if you want to stay signed in across visits.

A tool says "Coming soon"

A few tools (like full Word/PowerPoint editing fidelity, MOBI/AZW eBook formats, and PDF password protection) require processing that genuinely can't run reliably in a browser yet, so they're still on our roadmap.
